We were looking for a solution that can provide centralized platform to manage our perimeter security gateways and a product that has capability to manage 500+ policies, 1000+ objects, groups, etc from GUI console. We were also looking for some sort of foundation for our organization's cyber security strategy. With Checkpoint R80 security management - We are successfully able to centrally manage all our Security Gateways (3000, 5000, 6000 series endpoint) and able to view/manage real-time, past traffic logs from integrated log servers. The ease of creating centralized/global/customized security rulesets, objects, within central console is awesome and adds values to our day to day operations. We could also develop information, procedures as part of security management processes that we use for data classification, risk assessment, risk management, threat detection and response to strengthen our perimeter security.

Trend Micro Deep Discovery Inspector is the best tools for monitoring traffic with minimal or no network interruption by using port mirroring over switch. Deep Discover Analyzer is the sandboxing environment for different environments like Windows and Linux and MAC, it also supports at a time 60 images to run for analysis purpose

Since i use fortigate FG-500E i find out that it has the sanbox is very powerful. its very smart, i can see that when its not sure that its new virus or what it send to sanbox inspection to analyze the virus to make sure its good for bad file. currently i subscribe to Europe sanbox cloud. and my fortigate update the signature every hours. i can say keep all my 1000 pcs in the local area network safe from virus, ransomware.

Network Security Platform has 2 pices, one to manage IPS Sensors and the other one to manage Sandboxing, its amazing the way that mcafee has been building the ecosystem to integrate and communicate threats in real time, and that's not all, it also can be integrated with 3rd party solutions to take advantage of it and implement a robust security strategy

Overall, our experience of the product and the company has been excellent. It has great range and depth of features, a great deal of which we currently do not use but with partnership we are starting to utilize.

This is by far the best appliance deployed in the organization and is currently being used. SWG has helped us achieve highly Granular control over web based applications traversing through HTTP / HTTPS services and also provided more authentication types that other products did not. Its deployment has been fairly easier and configuration went really fast with Support Team. The Domain/URL categorization feature is fairly accurate, the Intel is always up to date and most of the last intels are found to be auto categorized making network control easier. There are cases of False positive categorization, but the review TAT after a FP submission is real quick. As per the size of organization, it does have slowness issues, face slowness/server crashes sometimes, but is resolved real quick by the support team. Overall great experience.

this vendor ( Ahn Labs ) support us analyst and found the root cause of malware infection as soon as possible , I recommend the staff ( Korean people ) very nicely and support .

Easy-to-manage, cost-effective solution without additional hardware to purchase and maintain. Overall I am happy with this product.
